Tuna Salad With Herbs
An American classic with a combination of herbs that yields surprising flavor! Even those tuna salad skeptics will say “Finally, someone made a good tuna salad!”
Ingredients:
10 ounces (285 g) solid white tuna (water packed), drained
1/2 cup (125 mL) mayonnaise
1 tablespoon (15 mL) fresh chives, chopped
1 teaspoon (5 mL) fresh dillweed
1 teaspoon (5 mL) fresh tarragon
1 teaspoon (5 mL) fresh celery leaves, chopped
1/4 teaspoon (1 mL) curry powder
A pinch (literally) of white pepper
Cooking It:
In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, chives, dillweed, tarragon, celery leaves, curry powder, and white pepper. Fold the tuna in to the bowl. The tuna salad is ready to serve.
Shameless plug: I prefer to use Penzy’s Spices the Now Curry for this recipe. I am not being sponsored by them. It is one of the better curry mixes out there. I have linked it below.
